Kate McKibbin

Kate McKibbin was pretty much destined to dabble in the online world, her dad is an Internet Service Provider and her brother an online games designer. After working in the account management side of advertising (including online) in London for two years, Kate decided to have a crack at something more creative and successfully submitted her first ever article which was published in Cosmopolitan Magazine UK. Bolstered by her good luck Kate waved good bye to the UK and decided to head home to pursue a career in magazine journalism (via a small stint as a TV presenter in Florence¦ but that's another story). Starting out at the then magazine of the year, New Woman, Kate moved from Sub-editor to Online and Entertainment editor quickly, and was the driving force behind New Woman's online redesign. Shortly after Kate decided she was a sucker for punishment and took a job at Shop Til You Drop magazine to relaunch yet another website. And then, clearly delirious from all those website launches she decided to launch her own site, dropdeadgorgeousdaily.com a very successful week-daily newsletter devoted entirely to the wonderful world of online shopping (her complete obsession)!
